About Clara
I am a professional singing tutor with 3 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, focused on Lieder and Art Song technique. My specialty is vocal improvisation for jazz and blues styles. I teach scat patterns, rhythmic ideas, and melodic interpretation.
Students learn to listen carefully. Through ear training and chord theory, you understand what you are singing and why. Musical decisions become intentional.
We strengthen technique while exploring creativity. Tone, breath, and range improve alongside emotional expression. Each lesson fits the student’s pace.
I aim to help you perform confidently. You will sing with control, creativity, and authenticity.

The first goal in my teaching is a healthy voice. Proper breathing and relaxed singing prevent strain. Simple exercises make the voice stronger.
Next we work on tone quality and range. Ear training and rhythm exercises improve accuracy. Students begin to sing with control.
Audition coaching includes song selection and interpretation. We rehearse entrances, exits, and performance etiquette. Preparation removes fear.
