About Helena

I am an university student how have been living in Brisbane for 6 months, so I am fluent in English.
The Spanish spoken from where I come from (Salamanca, near Madrid) is the one that is touch around the world since it is the one with less accents, dialects and grammatical errors.
I see classes as an opportunity to have fun at the same time as learning, that is why I like to use games to put into practise new knowledge.

About the lesson

First, I want to know what is the reason and motivation of the student(s) to learn Spanish, whether they have some bases, and what is their objective.
After that, we can arrange the classes to follow that goal, give some basic knowledge and build from there. I like to practise and ensure previous lessons with games.
If required, I can also provide some cultural background from Spain like food, music, traditions, famous people or books and related things.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Helena during a trip trough Tasmania where we experience many adventures together that allowed me to know her better and become good friends. One of her main qualifications is that she is very communicative and well-versed person that can convey her ideas in a clear and comprehensive way. Additionally, Helena is very patient, charismatic and she is always willing to help others. Definitely, I consider that all these characteristics make Helena an excellent Tutor.

I think Helena would be a great teacher as she really cares for other people and treats them considerably. She is very patient and friendly with new people. Also, she tries to understand your ideas and makes sure you understand hers. So this is a great quality for a teacher to have and last but not least she listens carefully and will find a way to help you.
