About Hlystan

Please note, I currently have no vacancies. Teaching is my passion. I love learning and try to impart this to the children I teach. My ability to build a good rapport with children makes it easier to help them achieve their potential. I have several years' experience of teaching and tutoring. By equipping children with the tools and techniques they need, I enable them to work confidently and independently. I give children thorough explanations of concepts and lots of practice to consolidate their newly learnt skills. I also tutor children taking 7+, 8+, 9+ 10+ and 11+ exams (selective entrance tests for independent and grammar schools). Recent successes include girls accepted into City of London Girls, Highgate and Royal Russell (one on a scholarship) and boys offered places at King's College Wimbledon, Dulwich College, Hampton and Kingston Grammar. In addition to the above, I can also teach English as a Foreign Language and Functional Maths to adults seeking to improve their Maths and English skills. Perfect! Reliable and Dedicated
Hlystsn is a good tutor, very professional and reliable. Hlystan tutored my son 8 years old son at the time from January 2019 at our home, and when we went into lockdown in March 2020, she quickly set up a routine to carry on with tutoring online. She focuses on the areas my son was weak in before moving on. Over the months, my son confidence improved, and we quickly notice a great improvement in his school work. I would recommend Hlystan.
Outcome : Improved grammer and confidence not only in English but in other subjects.

My children became more confident in their learning. My son moved up a set in maths, also my daughter moved a set in English and Maths. I am happy to recommend her as a tutor.
