About Zoe

I have just graduated from the University of Exeter and have three years of tutoring experience and one year of teaching experience. I have given language lessons in Spanish, French and English to people of all ages in the UK, Europe and South America, in both one-on-one and group sessions. I am excited to pass on my enthusiasm for languages - they offer you a whole new world view!

About the lesson

I want our sessions to be guided by you so that they are of maximum benefit to you. Once I know your expectations of being tutored and your learning style, I can prepare personalised activities and materials for you.

The key to learning a language is repetition so every session will start with a quick review of the session before. We will then cover any areas in which you feel you need help. I will also leave time for general conversation because it’s surprising how intimidating it can be to speak spontaneously in a foreign language. The more you practise, the more confident you become; you’ll be surprised at how quickly you improve! We will then cover any area in which you feel you need help; filling in gaps in your knowledge as quickly as possible is important to me because it will help you to stay on top of your schoolwork as you progress through the year. I will be keen to find out your learning style as soon as I make contact with you, so that I can plan activities that I think will really help you. My ultimate goal is to make sure you learn something new every session. Therefore, you must never feel bad for making me repeat explanations; it is my job to make sure you fully understand everything you need to know.
