About Julia
Hello! My name is Julia, and I am a Secondary Education major with a focus in History at the University of New Mexico. I also work as a basketball coach, which has provided me with valuable experience in supporting and motivating students in various learning environments. I fully believe every student is capable of success, and I teach with patience, respect, and encouragement to help them reach their full potential. I specialize in tutoring History and English, focusing on reading comprehension, essay writing, historical thinking, and overall academic confidence. My lessons are structured, supportive, and easy to follow. I break down difficult ideas into clear steps, ask guiding questions, and help students develop strong study habits and independent thinking skills. My Approach as a Tutor:
