About Sherry

你好! Ni hao My name is Rui and my English name is Sherry. I was born and raised in Beijing, China. When I was little, I was always interested in foreign movies and books about overseas life, hoping one day I could understand these people's lives and even converse with them without difficulty. I was lucky to study in one of the most prestigious universities specializing in language teaching in Beijing. There I learned English and met with foreigners in Beijing. I didn't realize until then that many people have the same dream as I had when I was a little girl, that is to start a conversation with Chinese in Mandarin confidently. I am here to help you learn and improve Mandarin Chinese in a fun and efficient way. You will learn authentic expressions and be able to talk to your Chinese friends and workmates with me. Are you ready?

About the lesson

Typical length of a lesson: 30 min - 1 hour Experience: I have been teaching Mandarin Chinese to non-Chinese speakers since 2012. My students come from Australia, UK, the United States, and New Zealand. Lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate. All ages are welcome.
