About Faith
Hi! I'm Faith, I'm from London and I finished my PhD in Astrophysics at the University of Warwick in 2024. My research mostly focused on finding 'exoplanets' (planets orbiting stars other than the Sun) using satellite and ground telescope data, and I now work on one of these ground telescopes as an operator and research program manager.
I have previously worked as both a teaching assistant for undergraduate Physics students, and a Private Tutor (2019-2020).
I am an approachable and patient person who enjoys seeing students succeed in the things they care about, and I always aim to tailor my sessions to what my students both need and want.
If there's another similar subject you'd like some help in, or just something I do that you're interested in learning more about, please do get in touch as I plan to add some special interest courses to my tutoring experience!
In my spare time I play the bass guitar for a metal band, I love visiting cafes to drink iced coffee, I love to bake and craft things, and I always have a story or two about my astronomy adventures around the world...!

My lessons usually run for an hour, and I currently work the hours of 3pm-7pm on Monday-Thursday.
In our first lesson together we'll talk about what your goals and ambitions are, some subject where you're feeling like you need the most help and we'll put a plan together. I adopt a very flexible teaching style, and I'm looking forward to working with you!
