About Erin
Hi, I’m Erin!
I’m a professional viola player and violin/viola teacher, and I’ve recently graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a First Class degree qualification.
I started learning the violin when I was young, and over the years music became a really big part of my life. I’ve had the chance to perform in lots of different orchestras, ensembles and concerts, and I now love sharing that experience with other people.
I want to teach because I know how exciting it can be to learn an instrument and discover that you can actually make music yourself! I also know that learning an instrument can sometimes feel tricky or frustrating, so I want my lessons to be fun, encouraging and enjoyable, while helping you become a confident musician.
Whether you’re completely new to the violin/viola or have been playing for a while, I’m really looking forward to getting to know you, helping you improve and, most importantly, making music together!
