About Hara

Hi! I was born and raised in Italy. I moved to the UK to finish my A-levels and go to university. I am a University of Leeds graduate in Philosophy and Psychology. I am now studying a Master's degree in Psychology of education. I have teaching experience both in schools and in other environments where I have organised activities and fun lessons for students. (DBS certificate holder). I am a friendly and very patient tutor, I am passionate about teaching and helping my students become more and more confident about their foreign language skills.

About the lesson

I like to shape my lessons around my student needs. On our first lesson we will discuss your goals, plans, and level of Italian, from this discussion I will do my best to create a learning plan to allow you to achieve your goals. Informal and fun discussions tailored to my students' interest are one of my main tools to help you learn the language. I also work with a large range of materials (videos, audio, games, reading) to facilitate learning. For grammar, I work with worksheets and examples. But all this can and will be tailored to your needs and wishes :) I also teach children, these lessons are slightly different since they are more focused on games and movement activities. I am highly experienced in working with children so please message me if you would like more information on this type of lessons.
