About Nicole

I hold a Master's degree in French literature from the University of Stellenbosch. I have taught French at primary, secondary and tertiary levels to both beginner and advanced students. I have taught individual lessons, small group classes and large groups of over 100 students at a time. The students I have taught come from various language groups, cultures and nationalities. I have experience teaching and lecturing grammar, literature and communication. My work experience over the past 13 years has enabled me to develop strong communication and organizational skills. I have extensive experience in curriculum development and lesson planning as well. This has enabled me to develop the skill of tailor making each lesson I teach to suit the individual or group I am teaching to ensure they are getting the most out of each lesson.

About the lesson

I want students to enjoy learning and to look forward to lessons. I believe this facilitates and promotes learning. I teach in French and English. Lessons are fun, interactive, dynamic and never the same. They are tailored to the specific student or group needs but focus is divided between grammar, listening, speaking and writing skills. Lessons are tailored for anyone starting from absolute beginners to advanced students depending on what the purpose is for learning French.
