About Pawan
Hello! I'm Pawan Singh, the founder of ChessPrix Academy and a dedicated chess coach with over 6 years of teaching experience. Over the years, I have coached more than 300 students through both online and offline classes, and I currently mentor 50+ active students from different countries and age groups.
I have worked with complete beginners, tournament players, children as young as 4½ years old, and even adult learners in their 70s. My students have achieved success in district and state-level tournaments, improved their ratings, and developed greater confidence in their game.
As a coach, I believe chess is more than just learning openings and memorizing moves. My goal is to help students think independently, calculate accurately, attack with confidence, defend difficult positions, and make better decisions over the board.
Every student is different, so I create structured and personalized training plans based on their current level, goals, and learning style. Whether your objective is to learn chess from the beginning, prepare for tournaments, or reach the next level of competitive play, I will guide you step by step throughout your journey.

My lessons are fully personalized and designed to help each student improve in a structured and enjoyable way. Depending on your level and goals, our training may include tactical exercises, attacking ideas, defensive techniques, calculation training, game analysis, opening preparation, endgame fundamentals, and practical tournament strategies.
Every class includes interactive learning, carefully selected exercises, and regular feedback to track progress. Students also receive guidance on how to study effectively outside the classroom so they continue improving between lessons.
Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps in chess, a parent looking for quality coaching for your child, or a tournament player aiming for stronger results, my lessons are designed to build confidence, deepen understanding, and create long-term improvement.

Hi, My daughter just attended half an hour demo class. The coach Mr. Pawan Singh is an excellent trainer has lot of patience in interacting with her.
