About Michael Dean
Former Software Developer with two years of experience developing, maintaining, and debugging applications. Graduated with a Bachelor in Computer Science at Deakin University. I've obtained High Distinctions (HDs) in several units including: -Data Science Concepts -Algorithms and Computing Systems -Discrete Mathematics -Object-Oriented Development -Web Design and Interactivity -And much more,... I teach students on a casual basis, helping them with their programming and theory problems. One of my students achieved a Distinction in Introduction to Programming. My preferred method of teaching involves sitting down with my students and debugging their code while they take notes (Pair-programming). I try to make sure that they understand by allowing them to develop freely and suggesting improvements. In brief, my method of teaching is tutoring rather than lengthy lectures.
