About Kate
I have taught grades Kindergarten through third grade with specialty in Language Arts. I have taught English as a Second Language to children for 6 months in Thailand and for the last 9 years in Nicaragua. I have taught English as a Second Language to adults in Chicago for 2 years, and to adults in Nicaragua for the last 9 years.

I have 6 years of elementary teaching experience in Chicago, and more than 10 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to adults and children in the USA, Thailand, and Nicaragua. With children, I use a lot of song, rhymes, and visuals. With adults, I use a lot of repetition and visuals. I am a fluent Spanish speaker also for those who want things explained in their native language. I am available all hours for students in Asia who want classes at a convenient time for them.
