About Aaron

I am a former Community Manager of Adobe's Photoshop User Group Community. I have won awards for my images. I have been studying under a master photography and university instructor for the last 15 years; attended dozens of his online classes; assisted in over (12) 3-day Photo Workshops in Death Valley, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Eastern Sierra's Bodie, and more. About the lesson

I can teach low-cost techniques in Photoshop to improve your photography skills and composition. I can also conduct a portfolio review of your existing work.

Qualifications:
In addition to a Graphic Design Certificate, I am a former Adobe employee who ran the Photoshop Online User Group Community. When I left Adobe, I became part of the community and a member of the San Diego Photoshop User's group (SDPUG). I live in San Jose. Through Adobe I met my mentor who is the President of the SDPUG. I have been studying under my mentor for the last 15 years. I would apply some of the same techniques learned in online classes. I have also won awards for my images, including 1st place and honorable mentions at local County Fairs. I will teach you how to compete and when/where to enter.

I offer short 1-hr classes at $50/hr payable via Venmo and PayPal.

What you will need or will need to do

1. Create an online repository of your images via Google Drive or Dropbox. Provide a link to me to review in a Zoom meeting

What you get:
1. Review and critique of each image
2. Suggestion of what the primary focus is in the image.
3. Techniques in Photoshop LAB Mode to make your images more dynamic.
4. How to prepare your images to go beyond the computer. Steps to get your work printed and entered into county fairs/expositions.
5. Steps and information to improve your photography and camera-eye. Opportunities to create additional content through Photowalks and 3-day workshops with me. Further instruction, with my mentor online...sessions are ongoing.
6. Become part of a local network of camera and photography enthusiasts
