About Claire
***CURRENTLY ONLY TAKING ON ONLINE SESSIONS due to scheduling time constraints*** (Skype lessons and proofreading okay also)
I'm a postgraduate student who relocated to London from Sydney Australia to commence a PhD in Experimental (Legal) Psychology at UCL, and am looking to spend my spare time sharing my passion for these subjects to motivate and inspire young students. I also currently lecture in Forensic Psychology at BNU, and am responsible for the delivery of 5 BPS approved forensic psych modules, as well as dissertation supervision of honours and Masters students.
I hold a B. Science (Criminology & Psychology) from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Forensic Mental Health from Griffith University, and First Class Honours degree in Psychological Science from the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), with a HD (>85%) average.
My approaches to writing essays, lab/research proposals and reports, as well as exam preparation have been perfected through experience in a number of academic institutions. Before my current lectureship at BNU, I had taught psychology undergraduate and Masters students at UCL (Jan 2017 - Jan 2018) and ACAP (February 2016 - Dec 2016), both on campus and through distance education. These roles included delivering module content weekly (introductory statistics and psychology sessions), providing exam/study guidance, as well as marking and providing constructive feedback on students' essays, lab/research reports, and dissertations/thesis'.
I am available for both online or in person advice on essay/report writing, data analysis, assignment proofing and exam preparation, as well as advice regarding University application processes and interviewing.
