About Shreya
I am not here merely as someone who teaches English or explains literary texts. I see myself as a reader, a learner, and a facilitator who believes that literature has the power to shape the way we think, question, and understand the world.
My journey with literature has taught me that words are never just words. Behind every poem, novel, play, or story lies a world of ideas, emotions, cultures, conflicts, and human experiences. English, similarly, is not merely a language to be mastered—it is a powerful medium through which we communicate our thoughts, build confidence, and make our voices heard.
I want to impart my knowledge because knowledge becomes meaningful when it is shared. Whatever I have learned through reading, studying, teaching, and engaging with literature, I want to pass on to students—not simply so that they can score well, but so that they can develop their own voice and perspective.
My aim is to create a classroom where you are not afraid to question a text, disagree with an interpretation, express an opinion, or look at a familiar idea differently. I want you to become independent readers and thinkers rather than simply learners who memorize answers.
For me, teaching literature is ultimately about creating a connection—between the writer and the reader, between the past and the present, and between knowledge and life. I teach because I believe that a good command of language can give you confidence, while a deeper understanding of literature can give you perspective. And if I can help you find both, I believe I have done more than teach a subject—I have helped shape a way of thinking.”

Don’t learn English just to pass an examination. Learn it to express yourself, think critically, and make your voice heard.
And don’t study literature simply to remember authors, dates, and themes. Read it to understand people, society, emotions, power, relationships, and yourself.
In my classes, we won’t just read texts—we’ll question them, interpret them, debate them, and connect them to the world we live in.
