About Carryn

Hello! I am a passionate art educator dedicated to helping students discover their creative confidence and reach their full potential. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and a BEd Honours in Education, with over 20 years of teaching experience.

For me, teaching art is about creating a safe, encouraging space where you feel supported to experiment, learn, and grow. I genuinely love guiding learners of all levels—whether you are exploring drawing for the pure joy of it or working hard towards art school exams. My goal is to listen to your needs and walk alongside you on your creative journey!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to nurture your passion for creativity and meet your exact personal goals. Whether you want to master fundamental drawing techniques, explore visual arts for self-expression, or build a standout portfolio for school and exams, I design every session around your unique needs and learning style.

With a BA Fine Art, a BEd Honours, and 20 years of teaching experience, I break down complex skills into clear, achievable steps. You will receive personalised, encouraging feedback that builds your confidence and helps you make real progress at your own pace. Let’s bring your artistic vision to life!
