About Jocelyn
With over 4 years of tutoring experience and a MSc in Industrial Chemistry, I bring computational chemistry into every lesson. I teach learners how to predict molecular properties and reaction mechanisms through modeling techniques. My focus includes quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, and theoretical frameworks. Sessions are designed around practical applications, not just abstract concepts. Students learn by working on projects that use computational software step by step. This approach makes complex topics approachable and engaging. I have guided university students and researchers aiming to enhance their computational toolkit. My style is supportive yet rigorous, encouraging learners to challenge themselves. I emphasize problem-solving, logical reasoning, and clear communication. Each lesson blends theory with practical exercises. Over time, students gain both technical mastery and confidence. I believe chemistry is evolving, and computational methods are vital for the future. My mission is to prepare learners to thrive as modern, well-rounded chemists.

As a chemistry tutor, I aim to create lessons that are both interactive and supportive. I focus on helping students struggling with chemical equations and abstract concepts. Problem-solving is at the heart of my teaching method. Everyday chemical phenomena, like dissolving, crystallization, and reactions in cooking, are used to build interest. Lab safety is an important theme in every session. I also bring in historical discoveries to highlight the human journey of science. Environmental chemistry forms part of my lessons, linking knowledge to real-world issues. Visual aids simplify abstract theories, making them easier to grasp. I design simple experiments so learners can see chemistry at work. Real-life examples ensure concepts are relatable. I especially support Science Communicators and Neuroscience Buffs with tailored approaches. I encourage curiosity and active engagement in all sessions. Each lesson builds confidence as well as knowledge. My mission is to show students that chemistry is both practical and exciting.
