I am a published author, write children's books, hold a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Concordia University and a master's degree in Creative Writing from University of Edinburgh, my TEFL degree from International TEFL Academy, and a certificate in Teaching Young Learners.

I focus on a communicative approach of language learning, incorporating Practice, Presentation, and Production, with an emphasis on tactile activities and practical applications.
I currently tutor children in my community, and teach EAL at several colleges. I work with both youth and adults, and love sharing my passion for language, literacy and learning! I have completed two degrees, hold a TEFL certificate and a certificate for teaching young learners, and as an author, I have gotten to be involved in all kinds of amazing literary communities. I love creating a learning environment that is based around curiosity, excitement, patience, and compassion!
