About Erin
I studied Spanish through high school and college and then sealed it in by living and working in Costa Rica for 18 months. This combination of many years of studying and then immersing myself in a village where very little English was spoken, means I can help students with the grammar as well as round out their confidence conversing in Spanish.

I feel that conversation is key, so my lessons would start with some chatting about their day, and encouraging some back and forth dialogue with emphasis on the student's current vocabulary words. We'd then tackle some grammar, working in parallel to their class curriculum. I'd also include some work writing, whether it be a letter to a friend, an inquiry about a vacation to help the kids practice expressing themselves in writing as well as orally.
