About Melissa
I am a 20 year old undergraduate student currently studying full time Spanish and Latin American studies.
I have also been working full time as an LSA in secondary schools for 3 years now. Where I have built up many teaching and listening skills as I have worked with many students from ages 11 to 16.
I have a 9 in GCSE Spanish and an A in A- Level Spanish.
My family is from Colombia so with Spanish being the language that I speak at home means that I have excellent communication skills and knowledge on the culture and the correct ways to say things.

I would base my teaching methods around the pupil/s and find ways that would benefit them more than just a basic question and answer way, like a more direct approach so that they also have fun and enjoy this brilliant language as the main way to learn it is to practice and to be interactive with your Spanish. I have 3 years of experience as an teaching assistant and I hope to learn more and give back in order to pass on knowledge and skills to benefit others in the future.
