I am a first-year undergraduate at the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation (UNIGE) and I make in-depth corrections on texts written in French.

About Marc
I am a first-year bachelor student at the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation. Therefore I am expected to have a very good level in French and a keen eye for detail. However, I do not claim to equal a professional corrector. My correction services are however interesting for two reasons:
Firstly, I find that my corrections are more didactic than those offered by the correctors on the market.
Secondly, I feel that I am offering a fair price compared to that set by a professional corrector, which, on average, will be twice as high as mine. My idea is to make learning as accessible as possible, especially to non-French adult speakers who would like to succeed in their studies.
I am currently helping someone who is preparing for the DELF/DALF exams (level C1) and I find it rewarding to provide concrete help.
I am able to communicate in these foreign languages: German, English, Spanish and Cantonese. Therefore, do not hesitate to contact me even if your French does not yet allow you to communicate.

Here is what my corrections consist in: indicating errors by specifying their nature using an understandable scoring system and highlighting non-idiomatic expressions or collocations, proposing suitable alternatives or reformulations, and saying the general impression I have of the text. I generously produce comments that relate not only to the logical frame of the text, but also to its content. In other words, it is perfectly conceivable to read together beforehand a document which will be the subject of a draft; in that case, I will check the language level as well as the level of comprehension of any additional documents.
