About Coco
I’m a 19-year-old first-year Dentistry student at La Trobe University. I graduated from Mount Carmel College (2022) and Guilford Young College (2024) with a 98.35, excelling in English, Math Methods, Biology, and Chemistry. In middle school, I wasn’t academically focused, but through dedication and hard work, I improved significantly in high school and college. I want to tutor to help students build confidence, develop strong study habits, and achieve their full potential. Outside of study, I enjoy basketball, Pilates, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

As a first-time tutor, I adopt a patient, supportive, and student-centered approach, customizing lessons to each student’s needs and learning stage. I am happy to adjust pace, content, and methods for students at any level. In mathematics, I focus on step-by-step problem solving, helping students to develop confidence in both basic and advanced concepts, improve exam and homework performance, and build independent problem-solving skills. In English, I emphasize comprehension, writing, and analytical skills, encouraging clear expression and independent learning. Sessions are flexible, typically 45-90 minutes, supporting Years 4-10 students at all stages of learning.
