About Gri Faith A

Hello! I’m a first-year college student pursuing a degree in Education, majoring in English. I am passionate about learning, teaching, and helping young learners become more confident in using the English language.

Although I am still beginning my journey as a teacher, I have had opportunities to work with younger students during my senior high school years. I was sometimes assigned to assist students from lower grade levels, look after them, and help them understand the lessons provided by their advisers. These experiences helped me discover how much I enjoy working with children and supporting them in their learning.

As a future English teacher, I want to create lessons that are fun, simple, and comfortable for young learners. I believe students learn best when they feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and express themselves without fear of being judged.

My goal as an ESL tutor is not only to teach grammar and vocabulary, but also to help my students develop the confidence to communicate in English. I am excited to grow as a teacher while helping my students grow as learners.

About the lesson

For young students especially, parents and students aren't necessarily looking for the most experienced tutor. They want someone who is patient, encouraging, engaging, and able to make their child feel comfortable enough to participate. I'll create a friendly and supportive environment where students can practice English without being embarrassed about mistakes. I'll use simple explanations, conversations, activities, and topics that are appropriate for their age and interests. My goal is to help students actually use English—to speak, answer questions, express themselves, and understand others. I'm currently studying Education major in English, so teaching isn't just something I'm trying—it is the career I'm preparing for. I want every tutoring experience to help me grow while helping my students grow too. I may be at the beginning of my journey as a teacher, but I am ready to learn, grow, and give my students my best. Let’s make English something you can enjoy—not something you have to be afraid of.
