About Samantha
I'm currently a first-year student at Carnegie Mellon University studying business administration in the Tepper School of Business. I was born in Irvine, California and grew up in Taiwan for most of my life. Throughout high school, I've been experienced in planning mandarin lessons for local students instructed in English. As a student, I understand how to effectively teach younger students in ways that'll help them learn in a stress-free environment.

Up until 5th grade, I pursued a traditional Taiwanese education where I was taught in a local environment which allowed me to experience the Taiwanese education system. Based on this background, I'll structure my lesson curriculum around this effective system to help students learn Mandarin writing, reading, speaking, etc. in a way that's helpful and unique from most other teaching styles.
