I received straight A*s at GCSE, including A*s in English language and English literature in 2015, and was awarded a First Class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford in 2020. I am willing to offer tuition to help with writing, poetry, and other topics in the English curriculum.

I focus on understanding and engagement. Proper engagement with individual texts or with the writing task at hand is essential to success in these exams. Understanding both the piece being studied and what is required by the examiners is essential, too. I aim for my sessions to be enjoyable and rigorous, setting tasks both during the session and for homework, if desired.
