About Matisse
I’m originally from Muriwai, New Zealand. I moved to London to pursue a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering, where I graduated with First Class Honors. My first release was a drum and bass track called Fire, written with Flowidus, which led to further collaborations with artists such as Sly Chaos and Witters.
I’ve performed at festivals including Soundsplash and Homegrown, as well as shows across the UK. Alongside this, I write and produce my own electronic house music, and regularly DJ and perform live vocals at restaurants and bars around Auckland. I bring a fun, energetic approach to everything I do, and love sharing that passion with my students.
