I like to figure out what learning approach works best for you to ensure you do your best! Some people work better with a conversation, others prefer notes, and others like clear examples to compare and contrast work.
If it's creative writing for example, we might look at some other work to understand stylistic choices or work with prompts to produce different pieces.
I generally go with an hour for lessons, but am happy to work on your schedule. I've tutored from primary school to post-grad, I'm equally comfortable with either. I've been tutoring for six years.
