I am currently studying a BA in English Language and Literature at university and tutor students doing A-Level English. Previously I have tutored students doing AQA A-Level English language and Literature, but I can teach any variety of GCSE and A-Level English. I have also helped students with their personal statements for university. At A-Level, I received an A* in all my subjects and achieved full marks in my English coursework. My style of tutoring involves working with students to help them understand how to read a text and find ideas within it, whilst learning how to apply their thoughts into coherent paragraphs and essays. Before any of this, I will take the time to ask you what you hope to gain from tutoring, so we can work out what will suit you best.
