About Emma
I have many hobbies including sailing, hiking, crochet and reading, and hope to climb all the Munros one day! I love to be outdoors, and volunteer with the Scottish Forestry Commission in my spare time to help restore woodland habitats.
I have a lot of experience working and teaching young people through my roles as a scout leader and a watch leader with the Tall Ships Youth Trust.

My lessons are highly tailored to the individual student and their needs, with lesson lengths typically ranging between 30 - 45 minutes. I am able to teach using a range of methods, but primarily focus on creating a strong base understanding tested by short quizzes. I am able to teach all ages and levels from University, A levels to pre-GCSE.
I am a first class graduate from the University of St Andrews during which time completed an integrated masters in Biology, whilst I have also spent time working for the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
