About Lorna
I have a first-class undergraduate BA from the University of Cambridge in English Literature, having achieved A* at GCSE in both English Language and English Literature, and a D1 (higher than an A*) in my Pre-U (A-Level equivalent). I have lots of tutoring experience in both English and science, and am used to helping students feel more at ease when struggling.

My lessons are conducted on Zoom, very conversational, last around an hour, and will focus around developing the students' confidence in expressing ideas about literature (similar to the structure of a Cambridge university supervision). I may set readings and tasks in-between lessons if needed. I am personable and patient, and have experience teaching English to those with a different first language.
