About Lucia
I am a passionate and interdisciplinary geographer with a strong academic background and a commitment to helping students understand geography in a way that is both engaging and exam-focused. My approach combines clear explanation of key concepts with real-world examples, helping students connect theory to current global and environmental issues.
I place a strong emphasis on building confidence, developing exam technique, and encouraging independent thinking so students feel prepared for both GCSE and A Level assessments.
I work in a structured and supportive way, tailoring each session to the student’s goals—whether that is improving grades, strengthening essay writing, or mastering specific topics across physical and human geography.

My Geography lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and exam-focused while building a strong understanding of core concepts and real-world application. I use a mix of active recall, guided discussion, and exam practice (including past paper questions and mark scheme analysis) to help students build both confidence and exam technique. Lessons typically run for one hour and are tailored to the individual needs of each student, whether that’s strengthening foundational knowledge or refining essay and data-response skills.
I have experience supporting learners through academic mentoring, research-based work, and one-to-one tutoring-style sessions, with a strong focus on clear communication and helping students think critically like geographers. I work with GCSE and A Level students, usually aged 14–18, supporting them through coursework, revision, and exam preparation across physical and human geography topics.
