About Finlay
I'm an actor and teacher who has worked in prime time drama, independent films and in The West End.
I taught and then coached Ambika Mod through her first TV role and then through the auditions and shoot of "One Day".
I have also worked with Mawaan Rizwan for ten years and workshopped his BAFTA-winning show "Juice" in my living room.
I have helped actors gain entry to drama school and sign with top agents.
As a writer my one-person play "Strong Arm" was taken to the Edinburgh Fringe by The Old Vic.
I can create long-running drama courses for an individual or a group, as well as working 1:1 on an audition or self tape.

Using a Stanislavski-based approach combined with a writer's instinct, I unlock with charisma and character in a performer. I teach in blocks of one hour either in person or online using professional lighting allowing students to shoot and later study all their footage. As an actor who has appeared in leading roles on the BBC, ITV and Netflix I have coached at drama schools, 1:1 and in my own Drama Courses.I can work with actors of any age or experience and make their scenes, characters and personalities come alive.
