About Marco

I spent over a decade working in corporate finance, planning and analysis, and financial modelling, and I now want to share that practical experience by teaching. My background includes an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in Football Business from the University Campus of Football Business, which gave me a strong foundation in how numbers drive decisions across different sectors. I became a tutor because I see how powerful it is to understand Excel and financial modelling — whether you are studying for an accounting or finance degree, preparing for interviews, or looking to level up at work. I run small, focused sessions online via webcam, and I build each one around what you actually need to get done: the formulae and lookups you reach for every day, the PivotTables that turn raw data into insight, and the budgeting, forecasting and 3-statement models that structure a business. My aim is to leave you more confident and more self-sufficient with your spreadsheets.

About the lesson

Who it's for: university students on accounting, finance or business courses, professionals who use Excel at work, and anyone preparing for a finance interview or a modelling test.

What we can cover:
- Core Excel: XLOOKUP and INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, IF logic, data validation and conditional formatting
- PivotTables, charts and simple dashboards
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow models
- Full 3-statement models (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) that tie together
- Good modelling practice: clear inputs, error checks and a layout others can follow

How it works: in the free first hour we look at where you are and what you want to achieve, then I plan each session around a real spreadsheet, either your own (anonymised) or a practice case I prepare for you. You keep every file we build. Lessons are online via webcam, and I'm available on weekday evenings and at weekends.
