About Sienna
Hi, I'm a final-year Psychology student at the University of Bath with a passion for helping students reach their academic potential. Having recently completed both GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand how challenging exams and coursework can feel, and I know how important it is to have support from someone who can explain things clearly and build your confidence.
I chose to tutor because I enjoy helping others learn and find it incredibly rewarding to see students develop their understanding and achieve goals they may not have thought possible. I am particularly passionate about Psychology and History because they encourage critical thinking, analysis, and an understanding of the world around us.
My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their abilities. Whether you're aiming for a top grade, preparing for exams, or simply looking to improve your understanding, I will work with you to create lessons that suit your goals and learning style.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they're aiming to improve their confidence, strengthen their understanding of key topics, or achieve a specific grade target. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where no question is a silly one.
I focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and regularly check understanding through discussion, practice questions, and exam-style activities. Alongside subject knowledge, I help students develop effective revision techniques, essay-writing skills, and exam strategies that they can use independently.
As a final-year Psychology student at the University of Bath, with A-Levels in both Psychology and History, I have recent experience of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum and understand the challenges students face. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students studying Psychology or History. Each lesson is adapted to the student's goals, learning style, and pace to help them make consistent progress and build confidence over time.
