About Amy
I am an undergraduate language student at UCD who studies Spanish and Italian as a joint honors and Mandarin Chinese on the side.
I have given grinds before and thoroughly enjoy helping students build up their confidence in their language learning.
I have been studying languages for the past couple of years and want to help students to develop a strong basis when it comes to language learning and help them avoid making common errors that I use to make when I started learning languages.
Most importantly I want to be a point of contact for you and someone who can help and support you throughout whatever your language goals are (whether it be to prepare for the Spanish JC or LC or to just build up confidence in speaking the language, I am here to help)

Structured lessons for the Spanish leaving and junior certificate exams. All lessons are suited and organized around each student individually.
We will work through any grammar or points that you feel weak or lack confidence in. Oral practice will also be completed in order to help you practice as much as possible before the orals take place.
We will work through exam papers together and work on improving your skills and level of Spanish when it comes to approaching each question on the exam paper.
Each lesson will last 1 hour.
I will adapt to your learning ways (visual learners etc) - powerpoints and notes on specific topics will be used in the lessons as well as the use of exam papers.
I have given grinds to LC Spanish students before and so my lessons are aimed for Leaving certificate and Junior certificate students specifically but I can also help beginner level Spanish language learners to grow and improve on their language journey by structuring lessons for them and recommending helpful resources that have helped me improve and grow my language over the past couple of years.
I want to create an enjoyable and stress free environment for my students so that they can feel reassured and confident in their future language goals!
