About Axel

Academic course: After two years of preparatory classes at Lycée Henri 4 in PCSI / PC * (major mathematics, physics and chemistry), I joined the Ecole Polytechnique (X). During the first two years; I received a multidisciplinary training in Applied Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Economics and Computer Science. Currently, I realize my last year and specializes in topics related to Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics in Economics. Experience as a teacher: During my military service, at the Air Force, I trained Air Force non-commissioned officers in the Math and Physics Officer competitions. In higher education, I helped students prepare the Engineering School competitions (MPSI, PCSI), Business Schools (ECS) and Medicine (P1 in Physics). For most students, the results of the competitions were excellent: X, Bridges, Centrale, Essec ... In high school, I gave courses to high school and college students of varying levels. For some, my role has been to deepen the subjects too superficially addressed in secondary education and prepare them for higher education. For others, it was a question of putting them back to the level following a change of establishment. At the X, I am part of the association GEPPM (A Great School Why Not Me?). As a tutor, I coach deserving students from disadvantaged neighborhoods and advise them in their career counseling.

About the lesson

Who am I talking to? I teach mathematics and physics-chemistry to students in higher preparatory classes (engineering schools, business schools, schools Agro-Veto ...) and the University (Economics Management and First Year of Medicine). I am also addressing high school students wishing to catch up or deepen the course. Methodology: During classes, I emphasize learning methods and give tips on how to handle exams and competitions. In addition to the academic aspect, I conceive the session as a coaching to help the student to surpass himself. Whatever the level of the student, I insist on the fundamentals to provide hindsight to the latter. Finally, I give work weekly to make the sessions more intense and stimulating for the student.
