I tutor in person, because I believe the enhanced engagement is much more beneficial to learning and understanding. I like to develop a relationship with my students, in order to understand them and how they learn. This helps me keep them engaged. In lessons, I like to get students to try and tackle problems on their own before I help them, to push their understanding and learn where their specific problem areas lie.
