As a final year German and Spanish student at Durham University, I have extensive experience studying and working in both languages. Last year I undertook a year abroad, spending a year studying, volunteering and working in Salamanca (North Spain), Buenos Aires and Berlin. This experience hugely increased my linguistic abilities, meaning I am now fluent at an advanced level in both languages. My course also entails extensive study into Germanic and Hispanic cultures, from the history of colonial Latin America to the politics of German national identity.
My teaching experience includes extensive involvement in volunteering in language cafes, language exchanges and cultural interchange programs, as well as giving private adult beginners music lessons (violin).
I am happy to teach any level in German and Spanish from beginners (A1) up to upper intermediate (B2).
