About Ofentse
I am a final year DPhil research student in Materials Science at Linacre College, the University of Oxford on a Rhodes scholarship. I hold a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Cum Laude), and a 2-year MSc in Materials Chemistry (with Distinction). I hold membership of several international professional institutes including the Royal Microscopical Society and European Microscopy Society. I have been teaching chemistry for two different international summer schools based in Oxford over the past two years.

I provide a piece of background knowledge about the subject (from the concept of a mole to chemical thermodynamics) without assuming any prior knowledge. I use an interactive teaching style where I give my students a chance to voice their ideas and questions about the subject matter or anything specific regarding chemistry. I teach GCSE, A-levels, and entry-level University chemistry.
