About Ava
My name is Ava and I am a 2025 graduate from Brisbane State High School with an ATAR of 92.5. I want to teach English as I believe it is such an important subject which everyone has to do until the end of high school. So many people don’t learn or appreciate the basics at a young age and therefore struggle in later years of English, which is why I would love to teach it.

I like to approach tutoring as just that extra step in the door, whether they need help coming up with an idea for creative writing, need help refining their vocabulary, or analyzing texts to their greatest extent. I believe that English tutoring should be fun as there are so many ways to express yourself through writing or creating ideas, however it is also important to have a firm understanding of the building blocks before adding any bells or whistles.
