About APARNA
Hey! I’m a student too, and my academic journey has been a little unconventional. I’ve studied under both ICSE and CBSE, scoring 100% in Biology in ICSE and 92% in CBSE Biology. I’m also a former NEET aspirant, so I understand what it feels like to study Biology both for understanding and competitive exams.
I got into IISER Thiruvananthapuram and completed my Diploma in Sciences there. I’m currently pursuing a B.A. in Political Science, with Psychology (Cognitive Sciences) as my minor — quite a jump from cells and genetics to politics and the human brain!
And yes, I’m proudly a last-bencher and an artist too. I’m not the typical “sit straight, open your textbook” kind of person. I like learning through stories, weird connections, creativity and curiosity. So if you’re looking for someone who can explain Biology like a friend rather than a strict teacher, I think we’ll get along pretty well!

I’m a student too, so I know how boring long lectures can be! I teach more like a friend helping another friend. I use stories, real-life examples, movie references and easy mnemonics to make Biology, Zoology and Botany simple and memorable. No complicated explanations or endless lectures — just clear concepts, simple words, interaction, and a fun learning experience. The 147 rule will also be followed throughout my teaching approach.
