About Silem
I learned sewing after graduation and the tutors I had told me what to do, but not why I should do it. I had to carry out my own research in order to understand why I was marking this point instead of the other while pattern drafting. When I finally understood the basics, it was easy to build on that foundation.
This experience led me into fashion tutoring. I run a successful fashion business and online sewing tutoring brand “The Silem” with over 300k followers across my social media platforms including YouTube. I help you sew with confidence & precision from wherever you are.
