About Doug

I am hilarious to a fault... at least I think so. I love learning and I feel that each student I meet is someone new to get to know, with a whole life and perspective unique from my own. It has been nothing short of an honour getting to know the people I have worked with over the years. I've always considered myself a lifelong student of humanity and the arts and my education continues to develop.

About the lesson

Structured to suit the individual or group needs, my approach is colloquial yet in-depth, carried out through a passion for the language and literature of English. Lessons up to an hour each or longer upon arrangement. Suitable ages are from secondary/high school ages up to undergraduate level. Let's get creative with learning. I have been facilitating education from a humanities approach for a decade at this point and I love what I do!
