About Tess
I am a Spanish tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 860 students. My passion is helping learners become confident communicators while developing practical language skills that support academic achievement, professional success, travel opportunities, and personal growth.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students preparing for examinations, workplace communication, international opportunities, relocation goals, travel experiences, and conversational fluency. This experience allows me to adapt lessons effectively to different learning styles and objectives.
I believe language learning should be practical, engaging, and enjoyable. Students achieve the greatest success when they actively communicate, receive meaningful feedback, and consistently apply their knowledge in authentic situations.
Many learners have improved pronunciation, fluency, examination performance, and communication confidence through my guidance. Their accomplishments continue to inspire my commitment to language education.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students become confident communicators through a complete language-learning approach that develops speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding. Authentic Spanish resources such as articles, videos, dialogues, podcasts, audio recordings, and cultural materials are incorporated into lessons. These materials improve comprehension while exposing students to natural language usage and cultural perspectives.
Regular assessments, personalized study plans, detailed feedback, and continuous support help students achieve measurable improvement while building confidence and independence as Spanish speakers.
