About Evie
Hello! I’m a dedicated SAT tutor with 4 years of experience helping high school and college students achieve their academic goals. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching over 350 students, and each one has inspired me in different ways.
My passion for education drives me to create engaging and supportive learning environments. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. I focus on building confidence and developing effective study habits, which are essential for mastering the SAT.
One of my significant milestones was helping a group of students improve their scores by an average of 200 points within just a few months. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of hard work and determination.

My teaching methodology for SAT preparation focuses on accountability, integrity, flexibility, and collaboration. I believe that every student can succeed with the right support and guidance.
I start by assessing each student’s strengths and weaknesses to create a personalized study plan. This flexibility allows us to focus on the areas that need the most attention, whether it’s math, reading, or writing. I hold my students accountable for their progress, encouraging them to set goals and work consistently toward achieving them.
Integrity is key in my approach. I foster a trusting environment where students feel comfortable discussing their challenges and asking questions. I promote collaboration by encouraging students to work together on practice problems, enhancing their learning experience through peer interaction.
In addition to SAT prep, I also offer tutoring in related subjects like GED and ACT prep. My goal is to equip students with the skills and confidence they need to excel in their exams and future academic endeavors.
