• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I teach because I enjoy explaining concepts in a simple and clear way. I believe students learn best when the teacher is patient, supportive, and able to connect lessons with real life. For me, teaching is not only about explaining a subject, but also about helping students feel confident and comfortable with learning.
  
  I also have experience supporting special children, and that taught me the importance of patience, care, and understanding. With one student, I helped build strong basics step by step, and it felt meaningful to see the improvement over time. I do not see myself only as a teacher — I try to be a guide, like a brother, who supports the student with trust and encouragement.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My motivation to teach comes from the satisfaction of seeing students improve with confidence. I value the moment when a student says they finally understand something that once felt difficult.

• How does your work help society?

  My work helps society by making learning more accessible and less stressful. When students gain strong basics, they also gain discipline, confidence, and better performance in studies and life.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  A role model for my work would be any teacher who is patient, disciplined, and able to explain difficult ideas in a simple way. I respect teachers who guide students with kindness and help them grow step by step.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside teaching, I enjoy reading, preparing notes, and staying connected with academic and current affairs topics. I also have an interest in politics and public life, and I like observing how leadership and people’s needs connect in real society.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One experience from my student and professional life is serving as Department Secretary at Loyola College, which taught me leadership, responsibility, and how to manage work with discipline. Coming from a rural background has also kept me grounded and made me value education deeply.
