About Thea
My teaching methodology is centered around flexibility, communication, empathy, motivation, and accountability, ensuring that every student feels supported and empowered to reach their language goals. I believe in adapting my approach to fit each student’s unique learning style, allowing for personalized lessons that cater to individual strengths and areas for growth. Clear communication is key, so I ensure that complex concepts are broken down in an easy-to-understand manner while encouraging active participation. Empathy plays a critical role in fostering a trusting learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing challenges. I motivate students by setting realistic goals, celebrating their progress, and encouraging continuous improvement. With accountability, I keep students focused on their objectives, providing regular feedback and guiding them through each step. In addition to English, I also offer tutoring in relevant subjects such as reading, writing, and test preparation, using the same adaptable and student-centered approach.
