About Sajeeb
I am a Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with over a decade of teaching and research experience at leading Australian universities. I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Melbourne and have extensive expertise in power systems, smart grids, renewable energy integration, and control systems. Over the years, I have also been deeply involved in mentoring students in Mathematics and Physics, helping them bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications. My academic journey has been complemented by strong industry collaborations and participation in several large-scale research projects funded by Australian Government agencies and industry partners. Through this experience, I bring a practical, insightful perspective to my lessons, encouraging students not only to master the curriculum but also to develop critical thinking skills essential for future success. My approach to tutoring focuses on building strong foundational understanding while connecting theoretical concepts to real-world applications. I tailor my teaching techniques to suit each student’s learning style, often using step-by-step explanations, problem-solving sessions, and practical examples from engineering and technology. A typical lesson is 1 to 1.5 hours, ensuring enough time to explain concepts thoroughly and practice problem-solving techniques. My qualifications include a Bachelor's and a PhD in Electrical Engineering, along with over 10 years of experience teaching university-level engineering courses and tutoring high school students in Maths and Physics. I have also conducted research in energy systems, power systems, and control engineering, which enriches my teaching with real-world insights.
My lessons are suitable for high school students (Years 9–12, including HSC and equivalent), first-year university students, and anyone preparing for entrance exams or engineering studies.
