About Ren
Hello! I am a Creative Writing student and rising senior at Hope College, Michigan. I have been writing fiction and poetry for as long as I can remember, and am very passionate about helping others find the joy in writing as well! I am a 6-time published poet in my college's art magazine, Opus, and have worked as a Teacher's Assistant in an English classroom. Additionally, I've worked at my college's writing center for the past two years, providing guidance with essays, creative stories, and the occasional slideshow presentation or resume. In this role, I've helped students and professors alike with grammar, essay formatting, citations, vocabulary, literature analysis, and many other skills. Alongside my professional life, I have taken several classes on poetry, literature, creative writing, and playwriting, giving me a solid academic understanding of the writing process and English.
